Triumph TR4

For 1/32nd Scale Models

Triumph TR4

Postby dge467 » Tue Sep 24, 2019 8:51 pm

This is built from a old MPC 1/32 kit. I actually built it years ago and mounted it on a highly modified Carrera GO 1/43 chassis. Needless to say it was never a great runner. I since picked up a used Scalextric MGB and put the chassis under the Triumph. I just had to move the front axle position to fit. I swapped the motor with a MT-1 slim can. I also added Paul Gage tires. Now it runs like it should!!

Beautiful vintage sports car build. The chrome detail is stunning, what did you use?

Always thought about this kit, and your build is much better than what I imagined!!!

Thanks guys! Bob, I used a product called Bare Metal Foil for the chrome trim.

Very cool
That’s another one for your Econoline to push once the TR4 Lucas electronics malfunctions.
It’s always fun seeing what you’ve been creating.
