Revell Monogram Lola T70 Spyder conversion

Was tempted by the new Thunder Slot Lola T70 Spyder but had the Revell Monogram version already. So, a chassis update was in order.
I usually build my go-to adjust-o-wheelbase chassis (square brass mail rails) but thought I should be getting more comfortable building piano wire/brass ones for better performance.
As advised by Chris W, chassis builder extraordinaire, main rails and front axle uprights are .055" wire. The brass guide tongue was fabricated from .064 x 3/4" brass strip. Brass U-shaped channel, .75" x .75" x .125", was drilled out to fit a Scalextric Sport 25K slimline motor and Parma 3/32" axle oilites.
Had to make lots of corrections to get the chassis "flat and square" as emphasized by Chris.
Shooting for this low stance.
Chassis side pans next and then assembly.
Getting there.
