Here's one that's probably not in anyone's collection! How bout a 66 Porsche 906/8 roadster. I had a smashed roof Eldon 906 that I saved for some reason? now I know why! It made an awesome (in my opinion) 906/8. I used an old Carrera Opel gt chassis that has independent front stub axles, a BWA slimcan motor, brass pinion. left the Carrera guide mount, but got rid of the spring, and added a wood guide blade. Rear tires are PG, front are stock Carrera. Parts box interior, swapped drivers head, Nothing really fancy going on here, but it sure is a good runner! and it fits right in. Color is Ivory from ACE. Clear coated with same brand enamel. I love building a neat car from basic junk, it just feels great when you get them done and makes some laps.
