Strombecker Ferrari P2

Again found this old slot car body in my stash. I think it is an attempt at a Ferrari P2. Brass and Lego Inline chassis with a small N class motor was used. I used some Carrera plastic Wire wheels in the final version. I still need to drill out the headlights and add some lenses.

Cool stuff on that build.

My minds eye is telling me the shell could be a Dino or a P2 with the roll hoop missing or something else I cannot remember.

Yeah, I think the wide roll bar is missing from the P2. Still looks good though. Strombeckers can look pretty good with a little attention.
Nice one!

Yes, I saw pictures of the early P2 without the hoop back, and wire wheels so that is what I modeled this one after.
