Revamped one of my earlier adjust-o-wheelbase chassis builds to accept the Revell Monogram 67 Ford Fairlane body.

Replaced the square brass sliders with piano wire. Changed the wheels to 15 x 8 Slot It plastic and metal rims, front and rear. Tall sidewall PG tires are fitted out back which worked well on my SCX Plymouth Challenger Trans Am build. Sloting Plus guide replaced the TSRF one.

Kept the front single and rear double body mount post set up.

Slightly lowered stance worked out.

Drives well and firm in the corners on my little test track.

Will be my new NASCAR class entry for club racing after some paint detail and an interior driver's tray.

What's so cool is how CLEAN and nice the new chassis is - and you also ditched the oversize exhaust!

Must have been a pleasure to hear that inline glide along -

Managed to modify the RM interior tray keeping the driver figure, dash, steering wheel and roll cage.

Added weight seems to have affected handling in the corners with more tail wagging. Easy enough to lighten with a switch to a simple tray and driver figure but I like the greater modeling detail.
