FryDaddy Visit - Oval Has New Home
Posted: Sun Jan 29, 2017 8:41 pmHad a chance to swing by Mr. Frydaddy's place to day on the way home from a day of fun with grandkids.
He recently moved and managed to get the oval back up and going in record time.
15 x 5 feet, braided. Was chalkboard paint but he has wet sanded it and now is really smooth and the PG tires hook like we have a guide in the rear.
Had a peek on the workbench. Hmmmmmm, interesting. Note to self: Build one like this, just faster :)
No wonder he builds such fast cars. Must be his workbench decorating (ahem)
Driver stations are simple and effective.
Some cool touches. He built these light boxes and when you are under green, your green.
Hit the track call? Red. I like it.
His infrared Trackmate bridge is nice too. I like the voltage meter touch.
And yeah, had some fun of course.
