In this month's Slot Mag(34) the reporter refers to a James May TV special "Big Trouble in Model Britain" wherein a master computer 3D modeler was given a 1/24th scale model of an IROC Z to create a file for 3D printing. Then the model file was sent to China to create a prototype. The author speculates that we may be seeing these IROC Z's in the not too distant future. Nothing confirming or denying the possibility has come from Hornby. I think there were at least 8 liveries, probably more when all the drivers involved are counted. I know the 80's Camaros were not the most popular body style (it was mine as I went through 3 of them over 15 years) but I believe they would sell well at least here in the USA and maybe in europe as some of the drivers that participated were from F-1. I would even put my money where my mouth is and pre-order one if it shows up in the Scaley Catalog.
