Originally scheduled for Sunday April 14th, I wanted to let as many as possible know about the cancellation of one of Long Island's three large annual model/slot car shows. Due to a late refit by the venue, leaving me with half the vendor space I usually afforded to the public, I had no choice but to take this action. I hope I can get the word out about the loss of this event, as we have had approximately 200 attendees annually for the past five years. Sorry to bring this news to you all, but I had no choice in the matter.
On a more positive note, I will be vending with my slot car buddy Bob Beers at the Baltimore Slot Car Show on Sunday March 31st located in the White Marsh Hilton Garden Hotel, just off Interstate 95. We will both also be at the NJ Slot Car Show on Sunday May 19th, located in the PAL hall in Parsippany NJ, off RT 46. Info for both is available on the web.
