I have not heard of any new releases for Carrera in 2019. Is this info usually put out around this time?

Just curious if anything really neat is in store this year. Already have a couple of Scaley cars to plan for and wondering what else might be on the horizon.

Nurnberg Toy Fair Jan 30th is when Carrera releases all the up coming cars including the Euro only releases. The New York Toy Fair Feb 16th is just for the US models. The Nurnberg is the one to watch. :banana-dance:

NEW CARRERA SETS COMING OUT
I got a message from a dealer last night with a bunch of new race set getting released
some of them are just north of a 100 dollar bill
So if you are new to the hobby you should look into these new sets
There are cars in these sets that are set only releases
Just wanted to put this out there for the new guys
and the guys that just have to have those rare cars

But, to be fair, new folks need to look further than sets to get started, even if you are looking to plastic tracks. Don't let big money manufacturers tempt you to spend more than you need. This is HOME Racing World. Look forward to a wood track, routing isn't that difficult, after all. The pride of making a track happen is beyond anything you imagine.

This is one opinion about the age-old question of wood tracks vs. plastic tracks. Because it is HOME racing, the vast majority of people start with plastic track, and they stay with plastic track. There is nothing less about racing on a plastic track, but it is different. Depending on what you like to race, buying a set may be the only way to get a particular car.

Plastic or wood, it is all slot racing. Plastic you can change and it works right out of the box. Wood you can custom design and do 3 lanes if you wish. It's all good and it's all fun.

Has anyone seen a 2019 US Carrera catalog PDF yet?.....astonishing to me how poor of a job C of A are doing now to get information out to their enthusiasts on line. We know what the global lineup up is by following Nuremberg press info....nothing but crickets from New York....it's really sad and pathetic compared to how well we used to be supported.....on the other hand, we do have really good info on the Scaley US line....just sayin... :D :D
