I wonder how soon they’ll be rolling in, considering the Mini Coopers were announced some time ago.
An Alan Mann version is on my wish list. This will be easier than buying a model kit and a printed chassis.

Same here - I have a resin shell almost ready to go but I will wait to see what the Alan Mann one looks like in the flesh!

I read that they are due February time.

Ford escort? Really? That car was ugly then and even uglier as a slot car. But nothing open wheel or F1 Almost as ugly as that BMW Procar

Eye of the beholder I guess...

I’m looking forward to it and will definitely buy one, just wondering what they will bring out to race with it.

I would sure like to see some 1/24 cars with the looks and style of Indy cars in the 50's and 60's, Like Ostero and Scalex do in 1/32. Maybe with a quality metal chassis. What about dirt track cars like vintage midgets or champ cars. Maybe Chaparral's, Ford GT, Cobra GT, and Mclarens in 1/24 with metal chassis. I guess I am the "older" crowd and not the target market for any slot manufacturers. I agree about the Escort, it is of no interest to me, but maybe younger guys follow that kind of racing and cars. '

Most of the racing and music I follow and like ended around 1975!!!

think the Escort was a popular small sedan race car in Europe so will have appeal there...I will get one - same as the Mini - maybe not as iconic as Mini - Fiats and Renault - but then who had heard about NSU and Simca - and they aren't the prettiest cars but heck they are a lot of fun to run. The appeal to me of these in 1/24 scale is they are such small cars that in 1/32 scale they are tiny and not that great on the track whereas is 1/24 scale they are not a lot bigger than a large 1/32 car so they handle well and look great :)
