Let's hope it is inline and NOT the offset gearing. Be nice to have a car we can TUNE given there are zero spares.

Wheels look like the 761, and the 44's w/o its inserts. I have a 761 and three 44's,
Cleaned up what flash on the stub axles and front hubs, of the early 44's, and the rear bushes. Polished the axles and bettered the gear mesh, all flash from there too, subtle. Smooth now, the later Canadien one eh was smooth from the get go! No mags and 8,9,10? Volts tweaked so they drift a little thru my biggest curves pinned, hustle on stock rubber, they are all even matches and predictable....
And Faster than my Chapparal...move over will ya!

I have to say that I disagree with the thoughts on Fly, GB Track, Flyslot and Slotwings. When GB Track came out it was touted to be a slightly less detailed model compared to the full Fly Car versions and with it supposedly lower prices. To some degree that was mostly true but the actual sharpness and general detail of the GB car was still very good. Then Fly (along with GB Track) left the party. The new company that was using the same models as the previous Fly Car company, now labelled Flyslot produced lesser detailed and in my opinion inferior quality cars to it's predecessor. If you don't believe me just look at the engine detail on F1 cars from the Fly company compared to the detail on Flyslot. And if it was at all possible the running gears and drivetrains were even worse than the Fly cars as well. I say that being a huge Fly car fan. Then Slotwings was born and that original and famous detail that was so renowned with Fly cars went even further south. I had some hope that Falcon Slot would reverse that trend but alas they didn't greatly alter the course albiet for a slight improvement in the modeling details compared to Slotwings at least. But the Falcon cars drive trains were still a major frustration when compared to what other and far cheaper suppliers were able to produce. And then of course the price of Falcon cars was more than much of their direct competition.

So if Fly Car do manage to make a come back I hope it's with the original level of modelling detail of the first company otherwise it's just another label change as stated earlier.
