Hello. I have launched a Kickstarter campaign to help fund a stand alone bracket/index racing system. As pledge rewards we are giving away any of our systems at incredible savings. Although bracket racing has always been associated with drag strips and the system can only do one lap, it is my preferred format. I find that throttling skills require to negotiate a loop tract beautifully compensates for the lack of human participation required to go in a straight line. The result is a short, intense, and thrilling competition. I can name three advantages for shorter races. One, it puts a lot of emphasis on the start. Two, it greatly increases the likelihood of both cars finishing the race without deslotting. And three, it increases the odds of a close finish that requires an electronic device to determine the winner.
I will try to put a link here but if it does not work you can visit the Kickstarter website and search "slotcar". Thank you.
