I don't mind the generic body at all! I think this year in F1 especially was a year that all the cars are not vastly different from one another and the generic model carrera has come up with is accurate to a 2017 F1 car (unlike another slot company).

If a singular, generic, accurate F1 model opens the space for carrera to do more teams and liveries then I am all for it.

Definitely will own the Chevelle and CR7 and probably the all black Ford GT...sweet!!

Yes sir, I am with you. I'm behind on the C7R. To me, that is one of the best slot cars Carrera has made. Just a super hot looker and easy to tune fast.

Now you have me looking at that black GT...lol.

I very well may have missed it but where are the Carrera pics from the toy show? We know why the Scaley pics are posted, thanks DK, but what about Carrera?

Yes, they are tire walls. They wrecker came out around thanksgiving. We have some.

As for photos, nothing. Many of the Toy Show cars are from last year. It’s cruel to post a photo of the Ford Capri and not bring it to the USA.

I always knew we were lucky to have someone like Dave in our corner. As the saying goes, you never know what you have until it’s gone. Since the great DK has moved on, I really hope Carrera realizes they still need someone like him. Updates have been few and far between. Scaley is very fortunate.

In looking around for places to preorder; I haven't found any US dealers offering the Digital 124 23857 Porsche Gulf 917 as shown in the 2018 catalog- is going to be a European offering only I wonder???

Yes the 917 is a European release only. Gotta wait and order from across the pond.
