Awesome news! I have always wanted an 80's Monte Carlo in 1/32 scale. Will Scalextric release the Monte Carlo in race, street or both kinds of paint schemes?

Its gonna be an expensive year...

The Chevy Monte Carlo will work for me. I've just picked up a bunch of early 90's 1/32 snap together Nascar kits to sloterise them.

I hope the montes are inline

Pretty cool that they'll do a Monte Carlo. Too bad they didn't make a Thunderbird to go with it. Oh well, maybe next year (fingers crossed)

Just outstanding! WAY overdue and I'm glad Scalextric is listening. I think it looks spectacular, but in white, my first thought was: "Artin Stocker". That is not a knock on it - that means I see a clean canvas to do some painting on. I hope they do some great liveries and if possible, give us some unpainted ones - I'd love those for sure.

That plus the few T/A's I still need makes me agree with Rob - going to be an expensive year!

Kudos to Scalextric for bringing these to the market! Nice to see an 80's era Nascar for a change.

Well since it is already out there, I will share that the Montes will NOT have prototype decos. They will be fantasy/generic schemes, at least to start.

Some will really, really not like this. Some of you won't care and just want the car...paint and decals at the ready.

I will share the artwork when I have permission.
