I purchased the orange and white ones in the hopes I could gently lift the numbers and keep the rest of the strips and such. But man, those numbers do not budge! I ruined one and just let the other one for a repaint.

Dave, Carrera makes a great product. Please don't forget us guys who got started collecting the street range. We need something new too!

And that silver stang' is simply superb. I love the windshield Ford logo! That looks like something cruising on a Friday night in every small town in America.

Dave if street cars don't sell as well could you maybe offer a car already in production like the silver one on a limited run of say maybe 500 or what ever as a Tampo delete edition. Between three manufacturers and scratch building I have about 40 street cars and that silver car without sponsorship and numbers would make a killer Eleanor

yes it's possible to do that BUT any limited run of cars would be MORE expensive. We cannot run such a small number of cars that you mention, it's completely not cost effective. Taking away printing on some cars doesn't save overall because it makes it a totally different car, there are costs associated with that.
As I mentioned I get a handful of choices each year to suggest... i have to decide each year of that choice is going to be strong enough to put my eggs into that basket.
Also an example, if one year we make a one-off street car and no other street car of that era we really don't have the option to then put that one-off car into a set with a car that's a race version. Which is limiting as you might expect. If we have a pair of cars that are street cars then we have options (single cars and sets).
