This new 57 Chevy is SO much nicer looking than the previous ugly #9 unit! Maybe with great hope they will center the side numbers,increase the highth of the didgits, and even put some slant on the numbers. Just my perspective from someone who hand lettered their share of real 1:1 race cars. P.S. Make the hood the same color as the rest of the car too!... ALSO, (PLEASE) give the art director job back to the person that designed the #57 and the #26 race versions!

Oh well, can't please everyone. Painted 1:1 stock cars for years myself. Not a bad looker and I really like the base color.

Wow! - I wasn't particularly planning on any 1/32nd cars this year - focusing on the D124 cars, but the Capris and the M1s... and the Beetles! And the D124 cars as well...

Can't wait to see photos of the models.

The 57 is based on the actual car raced by The "Greek" Emanuel Zervakis



Knows as The Flying Greek, AKA Golden Greek, or just The Greek. He raced a lot.



So there you have it. A very historical scheme.
