Looks like it was a great time! Congrats to the winners and all who ran! I really liked the store track!

Can't wait till the 24 next year!

My personal thanks to all who worked hard to put this event on the calendar, notably Mike and Dave at Cloverleaf and also Steve from Slot Car Corner who worked alongside them as well as racing.

This was a very fun event, well worth the trip. The racing was super close and intense but the atmosphere was festive anf friendly from beginning to end.

It was great to meet up with old friends, some of whom I have not seen in 8-10 years, and to make a whole bunch of new friends too. The local racers at Cloverleaf are a cool bunch of guys and they really know their track and their cars well, so they were very tough competitors. Congrats to all the podiumites, but IMO everyone who was there was a winner.

Thanks for the race-within-a-race update, Dennis. From a couple of Proxy races, I've become familiar with your excellent constructor skills. By being capable of dicing with the smoking one, it looks like you have equally excellent driving skills.

I was very happy with my results all round, especially as we almost never run silicone tires out here, so I had a steep learning curve to climb. And then with the tires being slip-on only, no glueing or trueing allowed, that required a different driving style too.
