not exactly user-friendly, but all that stuff finally worked. thanks much olipher.
sorry to mess up this thread so badly. Harry, feel free to delete all the bs.
interestingly, though, I encountered so much site traffic on the last go-round that I had to try four times to get something in my cart! maybe this helped get the word out and everybody rushed in.

No problem. It actually told me they care and are trying. I'm old fashioned and appreciate customer service like this.

And you came back and said it worked out. Some just complain and never come back to report, even if they were taken care of.

Well done. To both of you.

These chassis are designed to use a Slot.it inline motor mount but it must be trimmed on the side to work properly.
Front axle height can be adjusted using Slot.it bushings and M2 screws.
PS: Due to reindeer air traffic limitations, orders may arrive later than Christmas' Eve.

Out of curiosity, since this is new designs, why should they have to be trimmed at all to work properly? You would think that the design could be tweaked.

Because of the reduced width of these models, our chassis are designed for an inline Slot.it mount and not for the sidewinder version. This way, the Slot.it motor mount must be cut on the side, changing from an L shape to an I shape. Slot.it will be releasing new motor mounts next year so this won't be necessary anymore.

When I use a Slot.it inline pod in a brass scratch build, I always trim off that extra bit. It does not affect the integrity of the pod, as it is really a gap filler for the Slot.it cars that can use either inline, sidewinder or anglewinder pods. No trimming is necessary on the chassis being purchased.

Just bought the BMW chassis. Still working on the Mustang chassis. Trying to find the right wheel tire combination.
