Cars were to be set-up per the Michigan 24 hour rules:

4. Corey / Dave H - 1347 Porsche 911 GT1

2 man teams
18 minute heats
Michigan 24 Rules for car building slightly modified; no car lights required and daylight racing.

Hey, hey, hey. We want more details. What were the lap times. Tell us more about the car issues. Us racers who only get to race there once a year are at a terrible disadvantage for an event like this. We want all the dirt.....I mean race details so we can better prepare. Come on, spit it out.

Smokeio , I drove the DQ'd Porsche with Rob . I've been driving that car in our Tuesday night series , running under the 24hour rules . I made a "H" brace out of carbon fiber rod to stiffen the chassis, thinking it was along the same modification lines as the styrene tube between the front axle blocks . Turns out I was wrong :angry-tappingfoot: . But I like my mod , so Im gonna keep my little DQ'd Porsche as is . Besides , thats about $5.00 worth of carbon fiber on there ! :lol:

Oh no... I better take my braces out of our cars. I use a Z brace to reinforce the FARGAL pin receptacle and then an S brace to lower the center of rigidity for the Entabulator. L braces are used for all of the lights too.
