Team SCC's entry fee has been mailed.

Butch - Look at the bright side, at least Corey and Dave provided some "intellectual companionship" during the ride.

Looking through the body rules... didn’t see anything about it.

What is the stance on mirrors, windshield wipers, and other small parts of the body?

What is the stance on main wings and diaplanes/winglets?

Mirrors, windshield wipers, antennas, and any other small body parts - it's very unlikely they will survive the entire 24 hour race. In general, we would prefer teams leave them off so they can't fall off, get lodged in the slot, and ruin some teams race.

Wings - cars are required to have wings, diaplanes/winglets, etc. at the start of the race. If these come off during the race, teams are not required to put them back on during green flag racing. Because there are 6 teams this year, each team will have 1 heat per rotation when they are not racing and their car is impounded. If teams desire, they can make repairs to JUST THESE PARTS during the impound period. NO OTHER REPAIRS/TUNING may be performed.

That’s pretty much what I was expecting, just wanted to make sure.

Thanks for the reply

If there are 6 teams, will the cars be running an actual 24 hrs like in the past with 6 teams, or will the cars run less then 24 hrs as discussed the last time there was 6 teams due to the lengthened amount of total run time (~36 hrs) and drivers that come from out of state getting home.

The race format will not change, we will still be running 24 hours on the track.

We can do that any time now. I will get the team that won last year pick and we can go from there.

Clover Leaf Racing will start in White

Slot Car Corner will start in Red

Grizzley up next, then CanAm, then GLSCC and finally the folks from PA/NJ.

I can’t think of a better way to run our first 24 than to follow Clover Laef Racing through the lanes. Yellow lane it is!

The problem with following Clover Leaf is all the parts they leave behind when Mike it driving. :D :banana-dance:

Not enough smack talk this year, so I will start. All teams are put on notice, stay home, don't bother showing up, because we have the greatest driver ever driving with us this year as a one year deal. Also, better bring your A game for painting because we are going to have the coolest painted car.
