I think I may want to be a part of this next year. However I didn't see anywhere anything about the cost. Are you assigned to a team or do you have to make your team and register as a team? Now I know I am not a pro but just thought it might be fun. OH silicone tires there's a challenge right there.

Thanks for the kudos. I would have given them a car to play with earlier but we had trouble figuring out what car we where using. This was the first year in the past 3 where we did nit have a clear favorite early in the day and not until late did we have something we liked that it occured to me that Great Lakes was struggling. The spirit of this event is to promote our hobby and have a good time. Having an ill handling car that is no where near competitive is not a fun thing in a 24hr event so I offered up 2 almost identical scaleauto Toyota GT1 cars which only the motor and gearing was different. This way they did not have to drive the prime car to much and could practice with the backup as they both handled about the same. The Toyota was a bit off top speed pace with clover leaf and scc but was pretty close to us and can am. The track came to that car overnite as it gained between .2-.3 seconds.

So, from Christian's pic I think I see a Scaleauto Toyota, a Scaleauto Radical and a Scaleauto Corette, but I'm not sure what the Stihl livery car is, or the SCC car, although it looks like a DP. The Shark 22.4k motor looks like the motor of choice this year; from the #1 and #2 place cars.

I have to admit, it is nice to see a MI-24 field without an NSR Mosler in it............... Good decision, Mike.
