Ok here is my new idea. This race has become an issue to get dates and times arranged for two dates. Why don't we have the race at one track each year and we switch the venue every other year. This year we can do it in Cincy on July 29th the date was already planned anyway.

I just talked to Greg Kessler and he said you guys might be able to come to my house the weekend of July 29th and 30th and maybe just have one race this year or if we can get together at a later date have one in Michigan too. I'm open for the July race at my house if you can get enough guys that can make it. Talk it over and let us know.

I just saw Mike's post after I posted this one.

I think it is a fun race . But it's hard for people to get together in the summer when you are doing outdoor things. Maybe move it later in the year. Yes I can race here in mich.

So I started thinking about it I am sure the guy's from Cincinnati already have their rooms reserved and have made plans to come to Michigan for the race. Let's just keep the date here and then we can decide if we want to do this any more or if we want to change things around some how.

After thinking about it, the Orange Barrel trophy has no meaning unless we run a race at both tracks. We can have the race in Michigan and then decide later on a date for the race at my track or cancel both races, regroup and set new dates later.

Yeah, but they are all played on exactly the same size and shape field. Our tracks are nothing alike and whoever is hosting the race has a huge home track advantage.

Plus, our fans don't travel to support us. :lol:

Your fans may not travel but ours do. I guess we have another trophy that will never leave the store, not that I was to worried about that happening anyway.

We'll be there on July 29th and 30th for the race. Just hope you guys don't chicken out, we'd hate to drive all that way for nothing. :lol: :banana-dance: :teasing-tease:

Butch, I have already informed Dave he will be racing with you guy's. He is so excited to help carry your team again.
