I-75 Orange Barrel Series

Well... The MI 24 is behind us. I hear that some of the info around these 2 races had been determined. I thought I'd get things started toward finalizing details with a thread. So here we go....Rules? Dates? Etc...?

Hi Corey,

Mike is going to post some possible dates for September and October. We need to see how many of the racers are available for those dates. We know everyone won't be able to make any certain date but if all but one can make it we will race.

As far as rules go. We will be using Sideways Gp.5 cars only with Piranha motors. Tires will be limited to 11mm in width. We haven't really nailed down the length of the races but I would like to have them 8 hours at my track and 2 hours at Cloverleaf. :D

We'd like to run them within a few weeks of each other. Otherwise Rob forgets how to drive the car. :D

Pappy,Pappy,puppy, yes spec motor (piranha), Group 5, 11mm max tires NO LIGHTS. Sounds good. Since I believe we're going to be short on racers, with all the great food, we should do 6 hr. Races. Run 3 hr. Take a break to eat. Then 3 hrs. To end it. I really felt bad leaving all that food for you to eat last year. By the way it showed when I saw you,that you ate every last bit. :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling:

Butch let's get the date for your race going that after we have that we will work on the second. I think we should start an email list and keep it to that. If everyone wants to send me an email once Butch puts out a date range we can set this going.

Race dates are set:

October 1-2nd - Cincy, Butch's
October 29-30th - Milford, Cloverleaf Store

6 hour race...

Group 5 - Racer/Sideways Only (same car both races)
Piranha motor
15 x 11 rears
etc...

Next question, how many teams are going to be able to compete in the I-75 Dual...Both tracks are 4 lanes

We can plagiarize the Dual in Detroit name, from Indy Car....
