On February 27TH we will be holding a pre race warm up for the Michigan 24. Anybody is allowed to race in this event you do not have to be in the Michigan 24 hour race. We will have one rotation that will be in the dark.
Doors will open at 9:00am for testing and tuning.
We will start the race at 1:00
We will get pizza or something for dinner but it will not be a big spread like the MI 24. I am thinking entry fee will be around $10.00 to help cover food and drinks.
If you have any interest please let me know we can run a few extra teams since it is a short race but I would like to have idea how many would like to attend.

Rules :
All cars must be set up to the Michigan 24 hour rules.
All teams must have at least 3 drivers.

Anyone need a driver, I'm available.

Team Cincy Slots will be making the trip up.

I have a four man team that wants to build a car and drive up for your four hour race. We are about three and one half hours away in northern Ohio. We're experienced home racers, and we have our own informal 1/32 league, but none of us have ever done an endurance race before. I wanted to be up front about that. We don't want to get in the way of anyone who's using the event as a tune up for your Michigan 24, but we WILL show up if you have a spot for us. Do you still have an opening?

If there is room for us, I'll send the check ASAP.

Awesome. Count us in. I'll send the check in the morning. I appreciate the offer of rules advice, but that's probably the only thing we can figure out on our own. What I need are some parts, which I'm going to go order right now, and some team shirts. I'll send the team name with the check. Need to consult with the guys.

Hey, this is the same weekend as the Detroit Autorama. A Hugh Hotrod show in downtown Detroit. :scared-eek:

Mike: For some reason I got my check back today, marked "unable to deliver." I had sent it to Clover Leaf Racing at 1246 S. Milford Road, Highland MI 48357, on January 8. I hope we still have our spot, because the car is ready. Where should I send this check???

Mike, I don't know if you have talked to Greg or not but I'm not going to be able to make this race. My knee replacement surgery is February 8th. I should be good for the 24 though.
