Do you have a preference for that guide over, say, something like a Slot.It CH-85? I ask because I see a lot of the red Scaleauto guides in both modified plastic chassis cars and scratch built brass chassis cars lately. Besides the longer guide post, I think that the post diameter on the 1604 is also slightly larger than on the Slot.It guides, so maybe you don't need to use the B-nova adapters when you use the 1604 guide on a Scaley/other chassis(?)
