Proxy without motors

Postby woodman » Sun Jan 04, 2015 12:16 am

From the mind of a slot racer: "WHAT IF" the same (motor) was installed in each car....then- and only then would the set-up really come alive....Each track would have their own (Broke-in-motor) to install in each car....Just a thought! :twocents-mytwocents:

Sounds like a good plan but alot of work changing the motor in between heats and such. The cars getting taken apart and back together over and over...... Maybe we shall call it yhe motorless endoro :)

Definitely a lot of work. I run in a proxy series that limits to a single motor type. Of course, even that doesn't stop the variations that occur from motor to motor. There is still the potential for a freaky fast one or a dud. Your idea is certainly a way around those variations.
