#2 White Lightning is done. Handles good with no tipping or rolling out of slot it is a little tail happy but probably gonna to stay that way and pretty quick. Weighs in at 94.2 grams with good balance. Probably be in the mail Tuesday Dave along with your scales. Priority.

The Aubergine RSR is boxed, taped and waiting to get the FedEx 3-day select sticker on it downstairs in our shipping department.

At dinner last night the wife and I were discussing the details on the RSR's that everyone has done so far and I told her I forgot to include windshield wipers. She then asked, "Well, is it going to rain on the race tracks?". Duho! Got me. I was planning to add them, maybe at the end of the series when it comes back into the shop, and well yes, usually raining here in Vermont.

ps… I included two of my collection 1/24 scale kits, Hasegawa Porsche 944 turbo cup (pink egyptian Blaupunkt version) and the also rare Tamiya Sogo Kiebi Porsche 911 GT2. The 944 turbo cup kit has Porsche phone dial rims! :P and I know for a fact, there aren't any 944/951 body kits out there—at all. The 911GT—all I really need is the fenders for the Käfer Cup, for testing on your new vacuum maching, to make sure it works.

Cheers, Thompson

Quick question before I send my car off.. Way back when on a rules post, we were told the rear track had to be 58mm

Is that still the case? The rear fenders are just over 63mm wide and with my rear wheels at 57.90mm they definitely look 'tucked in there'

I'm not pointing fingers at any other car inparticular, just noticing some of them seem to fill the wheel wells and I'm wondering if I can
adjust the rear track so the tires are not visible from above, but are wider than they are now?

Opps, I didn't measure mine, newbie mistake. Anywho, my wheels and tires don't stick out past the fenders, but are right at the limit. Guess I could have shaved down the front and rear tires a little more. Just so darn time consuming and really hard to do without a proper TireRazor… It scoots around my test baby RS Bergrennen track really well though. Touchy just like a real 911, hanging the tail out! Gotta be somewhat careful on braking, but boy is it smooooooth and quick! Thank gosh I've got it on carpet now, with all the multi flipping body rolls I've had testing :laughing-rolling: I even let the MoF test it out and she approved :handgestures-thumbup:

OK, the Red Rocket is on the way to you Dave! Tracking says you'll have it Wednesday.

I think all of us hosting are going to have to learn how to get the most out of these cars without crashing..
If you are smooth in and out of the corners, it flies.. If you drive it hard like the Mavericks it'll snap
oversteer and bite you just like a real 911  Took me a few laps to start getting nice flow going~

I sure hope the PM guide holds up.. The one I broke in testing is the first guide I've ever broke..
I replaced it with another one since we were supposed to use the 'kit parts' but if that one snaps,
I'd suggest going to a slot.it..

Have a great time driving them Dave!!

Great job Kev…the car looks amazing.
I'm curious about the structure behind the car in the pics. WTH is going on there, that is ridiculous (in a good way!). Any more pics of that posted anywhere?

I'm still plugging away here. The #3 is mostly yellow at this point, I'm thinking one more coat of yellow, then the 'trim' paint, then decals.
