Thanks for the compliments guys! Got to spend some time running it around the road course and I'm still not sure I have the balance quite right - but if the track is slick, with tight corners, I think she will be right at home... BUT if it is a grippy track and/or has long sweeper style curves, the host is probably going to have to baby her...
I did find that if I would brake early, coast in and then power out from mid corner, it runs out through the balance strong with the rear stepping out just a bit at the exit... BUT if you try to carry too much speed into and/or through the corner, she goes up on two wheels and out of the slot - or worse yet, goes to upside down "turtle" mode.
I still have a couple tweaks to do, as I still need to true the front tires and trim a BUNCH off my guide to fit the .223" slot depth on Shotgun Dave's track noted earlier (I used a standard Parma wood guide) after that, I hope to try to get it back to the track for one more session of "play" (it IS a lot of fun to drive!) to make sure the changes don't have a negative impact on the handling and then I will be boxing up both my and Apalmer's cars to send them west!
:D
