Yes. most of the Marcos, including the Xylon, used a plywood frame. Not sure on the Mantis

Wow. I had no idea the Marcos was plywood framed. As a wooden boat builder, I certainly see how there would be advantages and strength.

I guess so, Dave. It wouldn't matter that much if it wasn't for one of the most popular slot cars representative of that era being outside the rules. Now a lot more folks can enter. But it has taken so long, we'll need to get some attention about it for those who decided against it. Maybe when there are definite rules and entries, we can start another thread to get the ball rolling.
