Crystal Case Cover Proxy Guidelines
1-Body must be a protective cover from Slot.It and Racer cases that protects car inside crystal case. Body can not rub on track. Wings, spoilers, or other items may be added to body to achieved desired look. Body may be painted on inside or outside (your choice)
2-Windows-Must have windshield, side windows and if possible, rear window. May be left clear or blacked out. If windows are left clear, then must have some form of interior with at least a driver's head. Blacked out windows do not need interior. No cutting out of windows.
3-Wheel openings-Must have wheel openings cut out to show wheels.
4-Chassis-Can be scratchbuilt or an existing chassis. Material is open (plastic, brass, etc.) Mounting body is also open to any method.
5-Motor-Can only be the M/T-1 or M/T-SL1
6-Wheels-May use any wheel designed for 1/32 scale use. Must use standard 3/32" or 2.5mm (Ninco) axles.
7-Tires-Either Yellow Dogs or Paul Gage urethane tires only.
8-Gearing-Open, but gears must be designed for 1/32 scale cars.
9-No magnet racing
Creativity-Open, get as creative as you dare with paint schemes. No #'s are required. Just be sure your name is easily seen on the bottom of chassis. Bonus points will be awarded for best appearing cars (judges decisions are final). These points will not be revealed until after all races are completed.
Races-Up to 5 races. Voltage, length of race, format, etc is completely up to host as long as we have a finishing order (1st to last). We want the host to have fun anyway he sees fit (as long as the cars are not being damaged intentionally). Scoring-1st place will receive same # of points as cars entered in race, 2nd place will get 1 point less, all the way to last place getting 1 point. After last race, bonus points will be added to race points to determine overall winner.
