Posted: Sat Jul 13, 2019 5:00 pmWell, there has been much debate and difficulty with the technical issues at Smithtown. After two weeks, the transponders still aren't connecting.
Staff at Smithtown have been heavily invested in fixing the issues, going so far as to upgrade and load the newest version of the timing software. But between showers and the testing / issues with the transponders, the series just couldn't manage to get the round completed.
So the qualifying order was finally decided to be the finishing order, with Jamie taking the win, Dale taking second, racer1h rounding out the podium and chappyman66 bringing up the rear.
So Jamie is leading on 20 pts, racer1h at 11 pts, Dale at 10 pts, and chappyman at 9 pts.
The transporters loaded up, and the series is moving to The Grotto for the final MN round next week. Everyone anticipates some close racing, as the Scalex track is tighter than either Timberline or Smithtown....
