I think I have everything bought and printed. I hope to get started on paint and assembly next weekend.

Three questions.
Do you have a date for deadline?
Does a BWA NC1 qualify to use?
Can weight be added on top of the chassis?

Three answers: ;)

1) First round the week of June 10. So cars to MN by June 10 at the latest. If you want me to do a check out run, having them by June 5th will be helpful.

2) Yes, the BWA NC-1 is legal. Any FC-130 in that 14k range is fine. My car has an old Artin motor.

3) Yes, you can add lead on the top side of the chassis. We haven't seen the need so far in the test runs, but to each their own.....

I will try and get one ready...
Any scaling needed for the files?
Thanks!

No scaling on the files.....you can print them at 100%.
Print a driver, print a guide flag.
Great to have more cars!

Are there other tracks interested in hosting a round? Right now we have 2 (maybe 3) tracks here in MN.

Ok... let's have a roll call of folks building cars.
We were going to run the first round the week of June 10. So that's about two weeks away, and shipping normally takes a week or so. I will put up a build thread for showing off.....

The car is 75% finished. I broke a body mount and need to figure out how to reattach it, or secure the body another way. I'm thinking superglue and then a layer of hot glue might work. I need the shipping address as well.
Thanks!

Body mount thought - consider JB Weld. After mixing the hardner in with the other stuff you have a few minutes before it sets up. This gives you time to get the alignment right. Once it sets it's rock hard but can be filed if needed.

Super glue can be unforgiving and I always manage to get some on my fingers. Hot glue sets up quick, burns when I get it on my fingers, and can warp the body or compromise paint on the outside.

Shipping address for cars is

Paul Miller
628 Heritage Trail
Jordan MN 55352

For body posts I will actually use both CYA and JB Weld.
Just a dot or so of super glue to hold it in place and a fillet of JB Weld to hold it.

Looking forward to seeing and running the cars!

Thanks for the super glue/JB Weld idea, I think it worked well.
I’ll have the car in the mail tomorrow.
Thanks!
