1/24 /25 trans am proxy feeler. "updates"

I set the cutoff date at 72. Just google trans am racing, and find you a good one you like. Or make up your own livery like i do. Lots of bodystyles to choose from.

Can someone point in the right direction for 1/24 urethanes tires, H&R has silicone tires but not urethanes

Slot car corner has PG,s for the H&R wheels, or i can send you the size you need. Let me know.

My only problem is that I really do not want to destroy 2 tires from the H&R tires I have, they are the ones that came with the chassis . I just hope I can get them off with out tearing them apart. That was why I was asking if there was anyplace that sells the tire and wheel together.

Any thoughts on having other hosts for this one or are you thinking a one off at your track? Tusco Todd and I were chatting about hosting a few rounds here in Ohio.

taylor mustrang.jpgI call dibs on Jim Taylor's Falcon that raced in '66 with a 289. Legend has it he drove it cross country as a licensed vehicle to every Trans Am race he entered, with his tools, spare tires, and wheels stuffed inside and in the trunk; once all the way from OK City to Maryland for a race. It had a stock Falcon Futura bucket seat with seat emblem, and a full stock rear seat. I saw it at a Trans Am race...hmmm 52? years ago at Green Valley Raceway in north Texas.

He sold it in 1990 for $10, much less than what we will spend on our scale entries, then lanquished for a while, until found, and restored for historic racing by a premier historic Trans Am racing restoration shop. Jim also raced 850 Minis in SCCA before this.

Count me in for this as well. If we are calling dibs, may I request Smokey Yunick's #13 1968 Camaro. I'm also interested in a set of your tires if you are making a batch, or the part number for the PG tires that will work as well.
