My team and Cesc Motorsport were sharing the same ferry back to the Continent.
There was long faces all the way back, Cesc it´s dissapointed whith the Ferrari behaviour and it´s planing a trip to Italy to visit Ferrari´s archives to look for hand writen notes on how to increase performance on their historic race car.

We can only say that being at the third place after last race and be now at the last tells all!

Being tied for 7th in a field of 10 cars isn't something we're proud of, but I prefer to think of it as we're only 7 points behind the leader and still within reach of the championship. At least that's what I'm telling our sponsors and investors. As long as the driver's family keep paying our hotel & room service bills, and the sponsors keep the spare parts coming, we'll be okay.

Excuse me while I go take some selfies with the umbrella girls and then get something straightened out with track security.


Traveling on the racing circuit certainly beats working for a living.

The racing has been intense (and that is how it should it be), our car is performing very well, as usual the Bandit pushed his luck a little too hard and when he got out of the car was grinning like a kid on Christmas morning.

My delicately explaining to the girls that they are NOT Divas :naughty: and that beginners luck is probably involved, they took it to heart and are getting ready to do some serious racing. While I don't expect this good run to last forever I have to admit it does feel good and that new sponsors are starting to come a calling for sponsoring next years race car. :dance: Slothead I think that security guard may have forgot and left a handcuff or two on your driver. :lol:

The high altitude training paid off and the team bonded over some large steaks prior to catching a flight back to the continent for the races. The team spirit continued into the races and helped bring another victory and all important points to the team. Team principals returned to Japan directly and continued with development planning and driver training routines. Another great result.

Yes Dave - I dare say you are correct. Notice the picture of our car stopped in front of the Playboy umbrella girl. The driver said he couldn't get the car in gear, but when our mechanic check it out there was nothing wrong with the car. We knew he was trying to get her attention. We're also pretty sure he could have passed the Tyrrell car in the last race, but he was hoping losing to a woman driver would ensure he wasn't thought of as a macho-idiot. But when he saw her after the race and her she'd done well "for a woman" he blew it.

Thankfully, his parents are loaded and would rather he be out on the racing circuit than chewing up the estate lawn racing golf carts. So we're stuck with him for now.

We can´t believe what we are living at Elra Park!!!

Teams arrived yesterday to test cars and prepared for sixth round when an official announcement was made; racing schedule it´s determined by a computer program, but during last round a mistake was made and race director mixed several rounds schedules, so the race program was not right so the round must be repeated!

Not all drivers agree and soon some bitter arguments took place!



Teams owners also disagree knowing that it means some more travels and an increasing cost.

Lord Matchbox , Elra Park owner said that teams that refuse to do it will be banned from the series.
When a rumour that Ferrari was banned spreaded among the tifosi, they invaded the track!!!





Things even went worse when Lord Matchbox said that teams were free to leave but cars must remain at the circuit until court said something, circuit exit was blocked by police.



Under a huge preassure from FIA, lawyers, TVs, Tifosi and so on a final decision was made;
5th round will not be an official one, so points obtained there will not count towards the score board.
There will be one more round whith the correct schedule.

Those of us who know how much boozing goes on at race headquarters aren't surprised there was a foul up. We also accept that it was an honest mistake and are ready to move on.

Slothead racing welcomes another round and will do our best to improve our place in the rankings. Yes, our focus may not always be on the right thing, but we're a merry bunch and know how blessed we are to be part of a top-notch racing series. Our new motto is, "We may not win, but we'll always be at the after party".

Bandit Racing concurs. Having had time to work on the car, we hope for much better results and hopefully no rain this round.

While new to the series, D&D Motors appreciates all the work that goes into running a series like this and realize that sometimes things do happen. Although Simone and Carli are getting harder to deal with after each passing race as their heads are getting bigger with all the attention they are receiving. Actually I had to look twice at the Ferrari pic as I think I saw Carli (My party girl) mixing it up with the crowd. :o

With mixed results this last round, the Lotus team is looking at this as an opportunity! They have reviewed their wet weather strategy and if the skies open up again they will be ready!
With running mid pack, focus has remained decent for the team - but the crew chief is having to keep a watchful eye one the mechanics as all the craziness going on is making for a distinct distraction!
