In our 1:32 world, we all know that Giovanni Scalletti was a former Ferrari engineer, after some arguments whith Mr. Enzo, Scalletti leave to the States and founded Scalletti Racing Ltd.
The Scalletti Arrow was drove, as we all know, by Clay Regazzoni.

The Wolf WR5 was a Formula One racing car built for the 1978 Formula One season by the Walter Wolf Racing team.
Drove by Joddy Sheckter.

#208 Brabham BT44B
Brabham was co-founded by Formula 1 champion, Australian Jack Brabham in the early 1960’s. Jack is the only driver in Formula 1 history to drive for a team with his own name.
The BT44Bs were sold to RAM Racing, who ran them for a variety of drivers in the 1976 World Championship, including Lella Lombardi. She is the only female Formula One driver in history to have a top six finish in a World Championship race, bravo for her!

Slothead Racing chooses the Shadow DN1. I've been drooling over the Shadow Can_Am cars which I can't find in 1/32 scale but this will be the next best thing.

We've already been working on our rain tire setup, and are hoping for a championship season.

See you all on the starting grid.

Running a French team from HQ near Tokyo is not easy. There have been some communication difficulties but overall there is a strong element of teamwork evident. CJR RACING is pleased with the results of this round and looking forward to more success this season as the team moves forward with fighting spirit.

[Bandit's response to questions from Bob Palermo] "Bob, we had a good first round but then again, in the previous series we did as well. Hksk raced me hard and very cleanly. I am thinking he is going to definitely get his share of wins this year. We are happy with the results but know that there are some things that we need to work on."

When Bandit Racing/Wolf Team Manager Weir Raisin was asked for his comments on the day's racing stated " We had a good day. I would have to say that the driver lineup appears to be pretty well balanced from one end of Pit Lane to the other which will make for some close hard racing throughout the season. Driving the VW Touareg last season, the Bandit was somewhat out of his depth and it showed. This year driving an open wheel, he is more in his comfort zone and should be more confident in his driving which should lead to us getting better results. Thank you."

The team at DW have been doing a lot of practicing in the off season to get ready for this 1st race. Our rookie drivers in their inaugural race didn't let us down. It was hard fought. Let's hope it will continue. Good luck to the teams.

Slothead - Shadow racing would like to thank all of its loyal fans for their support. We've had some tough times in these solo racing series - love sick mechanics, drunken road trips, going vegan, bringing in an enforcer, getting into debt with gamblers, etc. Well, that's all behind us now. Mrs. Grump is our team mother, we're trying to stay focused on racing and not the umbrella girls.

We're delighted to be undefeated and tied the lead after the first round. Bring on the competition - we think we've got what it takes to claim the championship this time.
