SIP 2018 Final Thoughts

After being canceled, at last , a new Proxy it´s about to begin.
It will be an international one but this time slighty different.
It´s called Solo International Proxy.
During seven rounds eight teams will be battling each other to win the SIP Championship.
Each round will have 1 up to 3 races as track owner will.

During each race the track´s owner will provide the cars and race them, so before each race teams must choose the cars, there´s few rules ,so you can drive, for example, an F1 car one race and a NASCAR car on the next.

Every track owner will be the Race Director of that race and is free to run the race as he will, on all against all format.

10points for first, 7 for second, 6 for third, 5 for fourth, and so on, nul for DNF.

What you have to do?

Simply, just sign up and you are in!
Please, if in doubt,take a look at Slothead´s CanAm series or at Solo Racing Series somewhere in this forum to see how it works.
Anyway, feed back from teams would be expected whith a little" press note" after races,the idea it´s to take part not just lurking, it´s half the fun!

Most important rule;
That´s a friendly gentelmans´series, we must respect each Race Director decision. It´s just for fun!!!

I guess I don't understand. Are you signing up to be a team owner or are you signing up as a track owner or is it both?

We´re looking one more team, so you sign up as a team owner .

If you want to host a race you can sign up both (please note that you must provide the eight cars).
Feel free to ask.

Actually if you don't mind, D&D Motors would like to sign up and also volunteer Saginaw Valley here in Michigan as a host race. I think you will find the services here above and beyond the call of duty.

All is almost ready for the start of the SIP2018, I´m waiting the response of one team ,if they say yes the field will be full , if not there will be still place for another team.

At the moment, eight venues will be hosting the teams.

It has been a day, with cars arriving and and getting prepped for tech in the garages!
After the initial tech and safety inspections are complete the field will be rolled out for unveiling and assignments to the teams!
