Yes , I think it would good to recap all the rules when this becomes an official proxy. A lot has been discussed, and we probably need some clarity

That all sounds great AUDI1, I'm keen on this one and the timing of it is good too.
I wasn't ready to enter CanAm as much as I love CanAm cars, just so much to get done on the bench.

I'm not sure, Tony. Racer resin bodies do tend to be a little on the wide side. Check the dimensions of the 1:1 car, then check the Racer car at scale; if it's more than 7% of in width, which is very well may be, then it's not legal; anything under 7% is fine. 7% is a standard that other proxies have used and I think it's a reasonable one for us to use in this one.

Pretty cool about seeing the #24 in person! Saw that Grant is getting some good Cart/F1 exposure with people like Jenson Button and Daniel Ricciardo - good people to know and get pointers from!

I ran my Racer GTO, same car #24, in the IPS proxy two years ago, It turned out to be too wide so it carried a 5% penalty through out the season. It still finished in the upper half.

I think the thing with width isnt just about the entered car, but also how it affects cars it is on track with.

The SCCA USRRC years. The United States Road Racing Championship, which started in 1963, did away with all of the engine displacement categories that the older Sports Car Championship had and replaced them with a simple Over 2.0 liters / Under 2.0 liters / GT category. This category format, with regards to displacement, was also later used for the SCCA TransAm series; starting in 1966.

Did you know.............that Don Webster ran this Porsche 904 at Riverside in 1964 as part of the SCCA United States Road Racing Championship?

Boy, that OSCA 750 was one sweet looking car! Always loved the OSCA's, because they were Maserati's underneath the OSCA name.

The years 1960-1970, yield a plethora of car models to build. I may build several.
I came across a pic of an F Production VW Beetle that could be fun to build. So many cars so little time. Be sure to build the cars like they were back then, no full roll cages like current historic racing requires, etc.
