VI Solo Racing Season. 9th Round and Finals

Let's be clear there is no discreet about the discussions or the direction that CJR RACING will be taking next season. The yen is strong and that means no more pay drivers, or last years design, engineers, or management. House cleaning has started already.

The Mini team's spirits were not dampened by the rain (although they had hoped it would have given them a bit of an edge) and continue to press on surprising even themselves with how fun it can be to driving the underdog!

Will there be another win for the Ohio based team before the season ends? Only time will tell - but the boys are still optimistic and enjoying this "low pressure / low cost" season a lot!

Slothead racing seems to be the redhead step child of Lancia. We are no longer getting the factory support we deserve! Having slid from 2nd to 4th place, and being desperate to get into the championship round, immediate action is required.

As we see it, if we win - good. If teams above us lose - also good. Beware Solo Racing Season competitors, it will be good idea to count your lug nuts and watch out for water in your fuel for upcoming races - we will do whatever is needed to be at the top.

Of course I am only joking, but still, unexpected things can happen.

Were are pleased with Lard Snows drive. Points needed have been won, and the drive to make the final cut continues. Food, or the threat of rationing seems to have motivated the BARC driver to get the most out of the BARC Porsche. We look forward to the coming races.

While the team currently can't see the pictures - the results from this round were clear...
Spirit, determination and grit will only get the team so far and while it has been great fun to be the underdog of each race (developing a rabid fan base in the process!) - the limits of the Mini are real. So it is on to a more somber evening of hanging out in the garage and talking about what the goals should be for next season....
