Did some testing with the Lotus and the slimcan. The chassis has too much bulk for this motor.
Plan B is a Ferrari 206, gift card chassis. Much quicker.

This is a reworked Strombecker conversion. Pretty straight forward. Removed the mid mounted valance, bored out headlights, and vacuum formed new windscreen. The FF motor allowed the body to sit lower
It is an early 206 Spyder, and you have to wade through a lot of pictures to find this version. In the pictures I worked from it was carrying #77 in a 1965 Race.

Very nice; a lot of close tolerance work on the rear of that drivetrain! Any wheel inserts?
