the 2017 GRP5 proxy season has began
race 1 was raced on Thursday the 17th August

the cars

team Ford


team BMW


team Porsche


team the odd bods


the silver Ferrari 512 is my own car and is the only non-podded car in the group
and 1 of only 2 cars that are not sideways

there are cars from New Zealand, Australia, UK, Canada and Hawaii
there a 8 rounds with 5 in NZ and 3 in Australia
the competition is very tough this year so should prove to be a interesting proxy

round 1 was run at my track Blackwidow Raceway in Napier NZ

That is a pretty nice grid and a mighty impressive track.

next race is Auckland New Zealand at Orakie Raceway

You guys are more than welcome to join the parade. I also had the privilege of driving the blue lane at Topp Slots for the 2nd round. My car is a Fly Capri (the green yellow car) on a Sideways Capri chassis running a sidewinder 20k NSR Shark.

Thank you!!! An old set of rules or link would be great as it takes me a while to build a car slower than the factory out of the box car.

just go by the dates in the link
they will be about the same as last year

the rules will be the same as well so you can just use them if you want to start planning now
nsr supergrip tyres are a very good choice for the tracks we run on down here
