Greetings from Slothead Racing. While our finishes haven't been as good as desired we remain confident. On the bright side - we're solidly in the top 12 for team points and only 10 pts out of first place. Mrs. Grump not only gives us motherly pep talks everyday she also bakes delicious cup cakes and cookies for team meetings. We're only allowed to drink milk and tea, and she's scared away all of the umbrella girls and racing groupies, but we're trusting this is the right path.

Gotta go - today's chocolate cup cake day!

Hi there!
Here we are on a sunny hot day, no rain ahead but ready for race.

Lot of spectators (at least , plastic ones) and good ambiance!

#4 Chappy (Tyrrell) vs #26 Dangermouse (Ligier)

Another compluicated race for the australian team, anyway the Ligier fought till the end , being second but at same lap.

Second race so close that Dangermouse was the winner for only 0,05 seconds!

#8 CJR (BRM) vs #11 TuscoTodd (McLaren)

HavingTuscoTodd a lot of braking problems at the hardpin, the BRM , that is less powered but smoother, finished first! Happy faces at BRM team!

TuscoTodd didn´t liked it and was decided to prove he´s a winner.
When the semaphore gaves the start, the M23 went like a devil , taking a lot of adventage over CJR, but at lap 17 suddenly at main straight the McLaren began to power sliding and seemed the car touched anything, suddenly flew over and finished upside down, an unespected victory for the Yardley car!

#41 BARC (March) vs #20 Slothead (Wolf)

Wow, when Slothead it´s in urgent need of points, he must to race against BARC!
Anyway Mrs.Grump seems to give a lot of confidence at the team.

First race has the expected winner, BARC, but only for 0,05 seconds!
Second race was also close, but this time the winner was Slothead ! a pair of over sliding seemed to cost the race to BARC.

Excelent Slothead races !

#7 CARacing (Shadow) vs #10 Vonsirius (March)

Last night visit to the local pub seems to be positive for CARacing team, they won both races whith ease despite Vonsirius racing to the limit!

Vonsirius said that heads will roll if it don´t change next round and the first will be one whith a glove on top!

#9 Z-carfan (March) vs #5 Hksk (Lotus)

Extremely good race for Z-carfan who won whitout issues.

The second race saw a fast Lotus who was able to ran very fast, trying to catch him Z made a mistake and was desloted, victory for Hksk.

#14 Artús ( Copersucar) vs # 20 Frank9219 (Ferrari)

Copersucar team made a lot of work prior to the race, the car it´s better balanced now.

Frank´s Ferrari seems to be a little heavy weithgted but still a good car, anyway the Copersucar shows himself faster winning the race.

The other race was closer whith the Ferrari second but only 0.02 seconds behind.

#41 BARC (March) 22points

#4 Chappy (Tyrrell) 20points
#8 CJR racing (BRM) 20points

#5 Hksk (Lotus) 19points

#11 TuscoTodd (McLaren) 18points
#26 Dangermouse (Ligier) 18points

#7 CARacing (Shadow) 17 points
#9 Z.carfan (March) 17points

#14 Artús (Copersucar) 16points
#20 Frank9219 (Ferrari) 16points

#10 Vonsirius (March) 13points

#12 Slothead (Wolf) 12points

Some teams looks like losing momentum while others seems to gain.
Still a lot of championship to go, so a lot of things can happen!

Waiting for your press notes!

"Team CARacing is very happy with the latest results. We have the pace now and we need to stick to our plans and processes. Basics work!!" was the official statement from Spinner Wheely at last night's Q & A session. Off the record, there were rumers that the guys are testing in the secret, with top drivers and engineers from the Re-d-Bul Racing team...who knows?

Cheers

Ownership commends the "maximum effort" shown during the latest outing for the #11 team! While it would have been better to finish on the top step of the podium than upside down - they recognize that sometimes the limit is a little closer than expected and things go wrong...
Shaken by the wreck - the team appreciated the pep talk and looks forward to setting things right at the next venue!

BARC Racing Headquarters
Ms Clarke

"It was an eventful race as the competition was hungry for success. The chassis was driven hard and a couple of mistakes were made. This fact lets me know the driver is doing his part to get the most out of the car that was given to him. Even though it was not a perfect race, we continue to lead the championship, so we are pleased.

We are still looking for a good chassis man,and that is the number one priority at BARC at the moment.Feathers may have been many things, but he was no slouch with a chassis. With some engineering help we should be able to tweak a couple more tenths out of the car in an effort to hold our lead. I am out on the road looking for that guy, but it has been difficult to cut through the dragon queen jokes and my chassis and keep the applicants focus on the automotive chassis."
Cheers

The week at high altitude seems to have helped the Yardley BRM CJR RACING team. The R&D team is returning to sea-level and the land of the rising Sun and hope for continued success.

CARacing Boss, Spinner Wheely, and the Chief mechanic, Wren Ratchet, are very happy with the time "off" as they sent the entire crew to their homes for some quality time with the loved ones. "All work and no play makes the world a dull place" was the official reply from Spinner. but.... will Spinner and Wren stay OUT of the pubs....?

Cheers

The sumer break was not completely idle at Elra Park , there are now some changes on the layout and a more period look it´s given to the track whith some 60´s/70´s buildings and barriers.

All teams are now in the area and testing track, so races will follow during next days!
