Sorry guys! Had company stop by both last night and again tonight!
(was great visiting - but it is putting a snag in getting things posted!)

Wanted to get at least some of the pics and info up yet tonight though! :D

NOTE: All qualifying / shake down runs were performed with the cars running on each lane and the average of those values being used for determining qualifying positions.










Shakedown notes -
All three cars were GLASS smooth from the tree to the top end!
Tabasco - Pulls strong from the tree to the traps!
Kamikaze - Charges hard on the big end!
Retro Speed Shop - Notably QUICK off the line - consistent trap speeds regardless of lane!

Shakedown notes -
Vette - smooth - pulls hard all the way out the traps
Coupe - Hooked up and leaps off the line!
Cuda - Smooth and clean from the tree to the traps!
'55 Chevy - A little hop stutter off the line - but settles quick and runs strong!
'29 Ford - Smooth, consistent hooks off the line - nice runner!

Looking great so far!!! I hope my piles made it through shakedown and qualifying.

This rail was wheels up and off like a shot! Smooth consistent runs every time!

LOL! No Dave - when we did the qualifying, I was running two cars at a clip - some of the shots show cars from alternate classes, etc. I can assure you, the Gold Digger had no trouble tripping the lights. :)

Shakedown notes -
Retro's Rocket - pops up like a cork and after a quick bounce settles down and high tails it to the big end!
SPE - wheels up hard and then with a couple bounces it pulls hard!
Chevy Coupe - wheels up hard, then carries the front end a notable distance off the line!
Pure Evil - wheels up, rear tires hunting for traction while riding the wheelie bars - a wicked ride for sure!
Gold Digger - digs hard off the line, bouncing the guide - but once settled pulls hard all the way out the gate!

Kentucky Hillbilly & McLaughlin Willys

Shakedown notes -
Kentucky Hillbilly - Hooks, lifts and runs out strong!
Orange Willys - Comes up hard and definitely carries the front end for distance!
McLaughlin Willys - Comes up hard - once settled, pulls hard!

Shakedown notes -
Mustang - wheels up, smooth fast and strong!
El Kabong - plants the tires and sends the front end skyward hard before settling in for the run to the big end!

Dave - your Sun City Speedway entries were strong - but so was the rest of the field!
