Modern Bomber Fun Run Nashville TN

Postby arroldn » Sat Oct 01, 2016 9:52 pm

The cars arrived today. I opened up the box and gave them a shake down run. The Typhoon powered cars seem just a bit faster by the eye. I need to stop and get some batteries for my lap timer tomorrow. Todd spoiler came off of your red car. Should I re-attach? Steve I saw some hot glue in the bubble wrap but the car runs fine. I will attempt to have this run completed by next weekend. Really shooting for Thursday or Friday.

OK how many laps. Never mind. I ran them 100 laps last year. So I guess I'll do the same this year.

Bummer about the wing - but go ahead and leave it off for now. If you could maybe put it in a tiny bag and tape it to the inside of the box so it doesn't get lost, I would appreciate it (but please refrain from applying tape directly to the finish please)
Thanks!

Looking forward to seeing how these do for round #2!

Qualifying complete.
Steve your hot glue failed. I will re-glue the chassis to the body tomorrow.
Strangebrew you guide is to deep causing the car to loose brush contact at the track joins. Should I give it a light sanding or not?
Mn Ford Guy your car likes to roll over if pushed. It sits kind of high.
Todd and Gameover have the quickest cars.
20 laps
Todd 1.06.31 Fast lap 3.23
Gameover 1.07.28 Fast lap 3.25

Hey Arrold, don't worry about it, just throw it in with those other two that didn't survive and I'll get it next time we race. Thx, Steve
