Personally, I spent more timeon the Marmon Wasp than on any slot car I've ever built out. I learned a lot I'm the process and I'm thankful for that, but it's a shame to have it run only one race; particularly since this was a celebration of 100 years at the brickyard.
No one else has ovals that would run these cars? Have you checked with Todd about running these cars on Mark's Model World tri-oval? Dickie Pearson (nhdungeonracer) has an oval track in NH that might be available. And Bob Taylor has an oval, too; and he's the originator of this proxy. That would be at least 4 more tracks that these cars could run on..................... I can help with coordination, if that would be useful.
