Mark, where did you get the front wheels for your slingshot? I have been searching all over for any source at all. Are they plastic wheels from a model kit?

All the slingshots except the very early ones use cycle wheels.

they are Carrera Aston Martin DB5 wheels. If you chuck them up in a lathe ,drill press , or a hand drill, cut down the center rib till flat. I just used O-rings for tires. I took mine down a bit more.

While I would love to see "Factory Experimental" builds included in the Land-Speed & Drag fun run, we currently don't have a class where they would fit (based on the category and year cut offs we have established.)

That being said, if there is enough interest though - I would love to see this as a class for next year! :handgestures-thumbup:

A/FX cars werte 1965, so it should fit in hot rod class.
There is no rule posted about no body mods.
