Buspor, I am glad you got things back in order with your timing system. I will have Randy send the cars to you when he is done. It is good to be racing again.

Hi Guys,
All the cars have been unpacked and I have run a Qualifying round with the cars.
Burrell's car had a problem with it, but I contacted him about it and it was fixed before I ran the Qualifying round.
All cars were set a the highest speed setting and I run a few laps with each car to set up the brakes to my liking.
I ran each car 10 laps and recorded the fastest lap, some cars did come off a time or two but here we were just looking
for that fastest lap!
A few of the really fast cars may need their speed setting adjusted down a little for the actual race, to make them
easier to drive.
Notice that with the exception of the top couple of cars, the field is very close! With a better lap here or there each
of the cars times could have be bettered.
Also a couple of pics of the cars on the track.
Randy

Thanks for posting. Those corvettes seem to be the car. The rest of the field is pretty tight

Cheers

I hope there is a paper trail in case an audit is needed to make sure of the finish between 9th and 10th, and 11th place!

Seriously, great results. With the field this tight it will be interesting to see how the finals shake out, since I assume that overall handling and driveablility will be a bigger factor. An impressively tight field.

The next round of the proxy will be run this Saturday afternoon 12/3/16.
We will be running 2 cars and a ghost with one pit stop per race.
Each car will rotate through 4 different drivers.

Its been a while since I first posted pics of the track so here's a refresher.
The inside lane is 61 feet and the outside lane is 63 feet, track surface is stock non painted track.
There are 4 Lane changers on the track, one right LC near the end of the main straight. And 3 double LC's placed in between the curved sections. LC's all have anti collision chips installed.
The pit lane has two fueling bays.

The 4th race has been run :banana-dance:
It was a lot fun running all the cars and all the racers had a great time.
The four racers in our group are KenC(Ken), Komp(Paul), TPRgmwrench(Tom) and RTRandy(myself). My daughter helped us out by running the computer, which allowed us to just focus on the racing.
We started Saturday around 12:30pm with the guys running all the cars to get a feel for them and record what settings (speed and brake) they wanted to race them at. Started the actual racing about 2pm and when we ran the last race it was a little before 6pm.
The race was run through Bruces' RMS, so the Ken and Paul raced through all the cars and then Tom and I raced through all the cars.
Each heat had two cars to be raced and a ghost car. Each heat was for 4 min, which meant 1 pit stop for fuel would be needed.
There were three different ties for position and they were settled using the better qualifying position.
I will follow up with driving impressions in another post.
Randy

The Top 3! Komp, RTRandy and lancelotalve

The BARC Porsche seems to be going in the wrong direction and has been finishing lower and lower each race. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Guide/Brush issues, Tires or just slower?

Thanks for the updates. That looks like a great track.

Cheers
