Thanks SCC for the Porsche

Just got this car from SCC
Flyslot Porsche 997 RSR #197 - 24 Hours of Spa 2006. Drivers - Lucas Luhr, Sascha Maassen, Marcel Tiemann.

To set this up for one of the HOST Club class and drive every one nuts. It is a loud Porsche sound, just need to change the gears to cut down the extra sounds.

Those FlySlot Porsches can be made to run decent, as Josh and I ran them in last year's RAA and came home 3rd and 4th overall. Considering these are inlines and were running against sidewinders, I say that's pretty good.
That being said, a few things to look out for...
1-the guide post is kinda weak, so be careful not to let the rear end swing out too hard.
2-the motor shaft is lower than the axle. So either raise the motor so it's align with the axle, or use one of Slot. It's offset gears.
3-the front axle is floppy. Josh and I both used SCC axle blocks, and I feel they really helped the car's handling.

Otherwise, great cars... :auto-driving:

I've often thought about getting one of these even though it seems a bit gimicky ... but do they drive everyone nuts when racing one?

Hmmm, well Dickie's half deaf and the rest of us are nuts already so I don't think that will be an advantage. :auto-layrubber: :teasing-tease:

Magnetic downforce is 152 grams. Ran the car for 178 laps and the gears became very quite. I touched the motor and all most brunt my finger.

Yeah, I hate when my finger gets brunt...
Just getting burnt is bad enough... :D
