Painting skid marks & details on track

Postby Hotrodbob » Wed Dec 10, 2014 7:45 pm

I want to add skid marks and detail to the track surface. Can anyone show me some examples and tips on how to do it. I have added cracks with a sharpie.

Thanks

I just used a couple tires I had taken off old slot cars.. Scalextric Trans Am cars I think.. and I
dragged them around leaving 'skid marks'.. in a couple spots I rubbed them against the wall
leaving a donut scuff..

After a while as the track rubbers in, and your own paint marks end up on the walls, it starts
to look better and better..

I used tyres on an axle and some paint on my track where someone had done elevenses up the straight.
