Thanks guys. Bill I have a Go 4lane stretched octagon with crossovers to go around the perimeter. Mas that's a possibility, but my driving skills sure do need some help (lol). It's been a lot of fun so far Jeremy. The track has been up and running for less than 24hrs and has been flawless so far. The track is not fastened down yet and there are no power taps. I'm using a YH305D power supply on a rewired power connection so that I can turn it down for the Artins. Hopefully I will be able to get the driver stations wired in within the next couple of weeks and switch to the Parma's so the brakes will work. Track record so far is 6.64 at 12.5V with stock Go controller.

Looks like you have a couple of handy track-building technicians, as well.

Huge potential for even more track, too!

Re: Route 97 Motorplex (Stage 1) Now with Brakes

Postby Dodgefarmer » Fri Jul 12, 2013 8:10 am

Thanks Rusty, got some of your old track in there. I hooked up the brakes last nite. Wow what a difference although there is a bit of a learning curve. It appears that every car reacts different to the brakes but in most cases the car comes to a stop in 15" give or take a bit.
