Indy down under

Postby patwa » Mon Mar 04, 2013 10:46 am

Hello all,
I have been watching for a while and decided to join the fun.
Travelled from down under a while back to see some racing in the States and fell in love with Indianapolis.
To keep the love affair alive I have recreated the Brickyard at home in Scaley digital and we are having a lot of fun on friday nights a couple of times a month. The track is 2.4 X 4.8 mtrs and is winched up to the ceiling when not in use (hardly ever) because of limited space in the shed.
A couple of pics for now .
Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
Taken a while to get the picture thing worked out.See how I go.

I have had several attempts and can't seem to get the pics right.
I have read the tutorial and seems straight forward!

I have been running this set up for about 2 years.
I have only ever had plastic track,scaley/SCX.
Yes very happy with the system Have had no real issues and would go the same way again.
You can run 6 cars at a time with this system.
The middle of the track is a short analogue road course that was made up of left over bits.
I have all types of cars and a couple of 1/24 magless that we run at the local 8 lane routed track.
I tend to convert most any brand of car to the scaley digital system and have had no issues.
A couple of the Scaley Digital plug ready chips for the few DPR cars that I do have had faulty connections to the pickups but that was an easy fix. No complaints, great fun had by all.
Latest digital conversion is in the pic.Osterero Watson roadster. Please rotate computer for best view.
I dont know what happened.New to this.I will get better. Thanks.
